1.Power Magnetic Cores

(1).Type EE, EEL, and EF Cores​

Features: Large lead space, easy winding, wide voltage range, high-frequency operation, high output power, excellent thermal stability.
Applications : Programmable switch-mode power supplies, LCD display power units, high-power UPS inverters, computer power supplies, energy-saving lighting systems.

 

 

(2).Type EI Cores​

Features: Compact design, low power loss, temperature-dependent loss reduction, wide frequency compatibility, tightly coupled air gaps.
Applications: Power conversion transformers, DVD power modules, camera flash circuits, communication devices.

 

(3).Type ER Cores​

Features: Circular center column for increased winding area, minimized leakage inductance, high-power capacity.
Applications: Switch-mode power transformers, pulse transformers, electronic ballasts.

 

 

(4).Type ETD Cores​

Features: Circular center column, ultra-low leakage inductance, cost-effective assembly, superior EMI shielding.

(6).Type EFD and EPC Cores​

Features (EFD): Low thermal resistance, surface-mountable design, lightweight structure.

Features (POT): Compact size, balanced magnetic shielding and heat dissipation.

Features (PQ): Low power loss, wide power range (50W–1000W), cost-effective assembly.
Applications: Network infrastructure, medical power systems, industrial drive transformers.

 

(8).Type RM and PM Cores​

Features (RM): Multi-pin terminal design, high-density installation, moderate heat dissipation.
Applications: Broadband transformers, carrier communication systems.

2.High-Permeability Magnetic Cores​

1).Type U Cores: High inductance, harmonic suppression. Used in TVs, computers, monitors.

 

2).Type ET/FT Cores: Low stray capacitance, minimal ripple. For displays, video conferencing systems.

 

 

3).Type EE/EEL/EF Cores: High thermal stability. Ideal for EMI filters, small pulse transformers.

 

4).Type EI and EP Cores: Simple structure, multi-output compatibility. Common in audio transformers.

 

 

5).Type RM Cores: High interference resistance, moderate heat dissipation. Used in carrier communication.
