Design Notes

• The isolation rating is only valid if the PCB keeps the required creepage and clearance across the barrier — the package alone does not guarantee it.
• Common-mode transient immunity matters more than DC withstand in motor and gate-drive applications; check the dV/dt figure.
• Decouple both sides independently, with the capacitor returned to that side's ground.
• Propagation delay and pulse-width distortion set the timing margin in a closed loop.
