Design Notes

• The output LC filter corner should sit well below the modulation frequency but above the audio band; component tolerance shifts it more than the nominal value suggests.
• Switching residuals on the speaker leads are best handled at layout — keep the filter close to the amplifier pins.
• Power supply rejection is frequency dependent, so a clean rail still matters at the modulation harmonics.
• The exposed pad is the thermal path; solder it to a copper area sized for continuous output power, not for idle.
